Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, Govindpur under Bargarh district has released an official notification for empanelment of Contractual Teachers for the academic year 2026–27. The recruitment is being conducted to meet temporary academic requirements in OAV schools until regular teachers are appointed or return from leave.

Eligible candidates are invited to apply for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) and Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) posts on a purely temporary and part-time contractual basis.

Educational Qualification

Qualification for PGT

Applicants must possess:

A 2-year Integrated Postgraduate Degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/SEBC/PH)
OR
A Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories)
B.Ed degree as per NCTE norms
Ability to teach in both Odia and English
Basic knowledge of computer applications

Monthly Salary: ₹25,000
Age Limit: 18 to 65 years

Qualification for TGT

Applicants should have:

A 4-year Integrated Degree from Regional College of Education (NCERT)
OR
A Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/SEBC/PH)
B.Ed qualification prescribed by NCTE
Teaching proficiency in Odia & English
Working knowledge of computers

Monthly Salary: ₹20,000
Age Limit: 18 to 65 years

Relaxation Rules

B.Ed Relaxation:
If suitable B.Ed candidates are unavailable:
- PGT: PG with 60% (Science) or 55% (Humanities) may be considered
- TGT: B.Sc (60%) / B.A (55%) candidates may be considered
CTET / OTET Relaxation:
Candidates without CTET/OTET may be considered if otherwise eligible and qualified candidates are unavailable.

Important Conditions

Candidates holding Special B.Ed or D.Ed are not eligible
No TA/DA will be paid for interview
Selection is temporary and non-regularizable
Authority may cancel the recruitment process without prior notice
